Original Description:
Featured here is a small child's teacup and saucer with floral designs and gilding. The cup was made in Occupied Japan, meaning it was made between 1945 and 1952, and the plate states Handpainted Japan, meaning it was post-1952. Though the marks indicate they weren't made together, they work in concert perfectly: the foot of the cup fits in the saucer depression, the flowers are nearly the same pink, and both have gold edging. On the handle of the teacup there is an additional little d...etail, a smaller blue flower, very adorable. It is in good condition, with no chips or cracks there is some mild shelf wear and some gold fade. See pictures for closer detail.
Saucer measures 2 7/8", cup is 2 5/8" wide including the handle, and 1 3/8" tall.
