Original Description:
Fresh from a recent estate sale!!! A rare pre-World War 1 U.S. Marine Corps "Sharpshooter" badge, dating from 1908! This badge is very fine quality (possibly silver?) and is maker marked "J.K. Davison, Phila." It is also hand engraved with the name of the original recipient; "Merritt Slarrow, " and the date; "April 28, 1908." Excellent condition overall with only some minor wear / patina from age. Pin opens and closes smoothly. A fantastic named and early U.S.M.C. piece for display or ...to add to your collection!
