Description/Interesting Notes: An extraordinary example of native gold from this historic California locale!!! This specimen consists of stout, robust group of highly complex native gold crystals!!! The crystals are exceptionally well formed for the locality and are WAY, WAY better than the pics show!!! In person one can see that the main face of this specimen exhibits razor-sharp detail down to the most minute features!!! The gold exhibits brilliant metallic luster with a really deep buttery golden hue!!! This specimen is very aesthetic and showy in person!!! Ex. Irv Brown collection!!!
