David Bowie - Space Oddity 1972 Vinyl LP - First Issue Of Re - Issue, Vinyl.

Selling-up my extensive record collection. Lots of interesting records in the collection - do have a look at my other items, and there are new listings every week. I may have obscure things that you didn't even know you wanted!"Space Oddity" album is a re-issue, with new "Ziggy" era pictures, of the 1969 "David Bowie" album. This is the first issue of the "Space Oddity" album. Nice condition record, complete package.Pictures are my own photos of the items for sale. Photos are part of t...he description, have a good look. Cover - is nice - front has ring-wear, dulling the surface in a circle. There's a small bend at top right. Spine and edges are good. Back has slight ring-wear and some tiny stains. there's a 2x2 poster (of the cover image) in good condition, no pin-holes or blu-tack, never hung. Custom inner is present, not split or torn but some creases and perhaps discoloration from normal use.Record - A visual inspection first, then a partial play-test. Side one of the record has a fingernail mark that starts in track 1 and crosses track 2. There's a tiny mark on track 4. On side two, there's a small mark at the start of the side, and there's a long mark along the grooves on track 2. I played the start of side one and start of side two - Record generally plays very well, sounds just as it should. On side one, I heard crackles during the intro on track 1, ands a few crackles on the intro to track 3. On side two, on track one a couple of crackles in a quiet moment in the song, some isolated crackles during track 2, and a few crackles in the quiet intro of track 3. So, expect some crackles in especially quiet parts, but this record is an enjoyable listen. Top copies of this are expensive.When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.Postage at cost within UK - £3.00 plus 50p for a proper record mailer with two stiffener sheets of cardboard (or whatever's appropriate). Happy to do combined postage wherever practical. I'll charge you what it costs me - so anything up to six (or so) LPs would still be the same charge, £3.50.I'm happy to send this overseas. See below for details, if bidding from outside UK - you need to know this stuff. Dispatch will usually be "next day".Collection in person is welcome.
I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad. Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer.They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer.This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices. E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme. Charges to the customer for delivery and customs charges are whatever you're told they are - if you don't want to pay the postal / courier charges individually for the items, then do not bid.
