Original Description:
For sale is this antique Atha 1lb.6.2 ounce curved claw hammer head.  Signed "Atha Made In U.S.A." and with the famous "A" within the horseshoe logo, it measures 4-5/8" long, with a 1-1/8" diameter face, a 1-3/8" wide curved claw, and a 9/16" X 1-1/8" rectangular eye, with remnants of the old handle remaining as pictured. The steel is excellent, with a slight chip on the edge of the face, as shown in the 6th picture. Atha stopped manufacturing under this name in 1914, making this ...hammer about 100 years old.
