GERHARD FIESELER (1896 – 1987) was a German World War I flying ace, aerobatics champion, and aircraft designer and manufacturer. His Gerhard Fieseler Werke produced aircraft for the German military throughout World War II, including the Fieseler Storch used to rescue Mussolini from Gran Sasso. Fieseler also designed the V-1 rocket used in the terror bombings of London and other cities. Scarce signed postcard photo, shows a V-1 in flight. Fiese...ler writes in German: "The God who created men also created battle. G. Fieseler". Fine. (136)
