Up for sale is this FINE USER 19thC Antique 1/2" Round Woodworking Carpenter Molding Plane Inv#BL415
This plane is in crisp & clean usable condition. It was found in a woodworkers 18th century barn in New Jersey. There is no marking on toe or heel. The toe shows some fine hairline cracks. The plane measures 9-1/8" L. x 7/8" W. The cast steel cutter has been bent and therefore it cannot be removed or lost. It measures:7-1/2" L x 1/2" W.... It has some pitting & rust and it would benefit from a good honing. The plane has small stain but otherwise it is in CRISP AND CLEAN CONDITION. It is in "as found" condition right out of the woodworkers barn. It had not been used for a decade or more.(see photos) Plane is in really nice condition with lots of life left with a great feel and patina
