ORIGINAL GERMAN MAUSER BROOMHANDLE WOODEN STOCK HOLSTER C-96 C96 C 96 . Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
No cracks, no splits or major damage to the wood. The lid and the lug piece are serialized #33707. Looking up the MFG date on that SN comes back with either 1903 or inside the Prussian/Imperial Red 9 contract between 1916 and 1918. The initials O.G. are carved into one side of the stock and that looks to have been done a long time ago. Everything functions as i...t should. I do not have a C96 to test fit, but minor fitting may need to be done on yours to ensure that it fits since these guns were hand fit. There is some minor rust on the metal pieces which I tried to get pictures of. It is in otherwise in very nice shape. More pictures/specific pictures available upon request.
