Original Description:
Large Antique Vintage 10” Native American Indian Wastebasket Basket 1800’sNative American Indian basket, solid, firm with tightly woven spaced out braids. Likely Apache, possibly Navajo. Found at a local upstate NY estate sale owned by an elderly gentleman who had a large collection of Native American Indian baskets, some with date labels all dating to the 1800’s. He also collected Native American Indian artifacts and artwork, among other things.  Measures approximately 10 i...nches in diameter (width) at the widest point by 9 1/2 inches tall.  Condition: Excellent condition.  The stitching around the hole on the underside of the basket is beginning to fray, otherwise 99%+ of the stitching is intact and complete.
