The list -The block plane is a 60 1/2 size. It’s not stamped on the left cheek but it is a low angle block plane. Stanley on the blade adjustment knob and the blade. It’s in good shape and just needs to be cleaned up and sharpened. All the parts are there and the mouth is not dinged up. See pics. T...he No4 is your smoother. It also needs to be cleaned up and restored to your liking. The jappaning *may* have been painted over. It’s hard to tell for sure but overall this plane is in good condition and will shine once it’s cleaned up. Some delamination on the lever cap. Diagonal knurling on the brass blade adjustment knob. See pics. The No40 is your scrub plane. It has a V logo on the blade, consistent with Type 11 era hand planes. The tote is a replacement and does not match the original beechwood tote, but it does fit and the plane is functional as is. See pics and let me know if you have any questions. The distinguishing features of this plane are consistent with Type 18 features. The No7 is your jointer. Up top it’s in amazing condition. The only drawback is the sole. It’s has some cosmetic issues that don’t affect operation but they sure aren’t pretty. See pics to decide if you can live with some discoloring on the sole. Plenty of blade life left and a great rosewood tote and knob on this old plane. The features on this plane are consistent with Type 16 features for a No7. All 3 bench planes have intact totes and knobs. All 4 planes are showing their age to some degree. Clean and restore to your desired level to make them useable. This set of planes is ideal for someone wanting to upgrade or for someone wanting to get started in woodworking. Once the soles are flattened and the blades are sharpened, this is everything you need to get started. Shipping is $19.95 as I’ll be trying to get all 4 planes (safely and securely packed) in a large flat rate box. If they won’t all fit, I’ll pick up the tab on the additional shipping. See my feedback and buy with confidence. PM me with questions. On Nov-10-19 at 20:13:38 PST, seller added the following information:Error in the listing. The scrub plane should say consistent with type 11 (the V logo).
It’s the No4 that appears to be a type 18, not the No40
