Description/Interesting Notes: A rare "closed gwindel" or "sucre" from this famed locale in Switzerland!!! This specimen consists of a sharp, glassy, gem clear crystal of smoky quartz that exhibits the very rare and highly sought after "closed Gwindel" form (sometimes affectionately called "sucres")!!! ... This specimen is simply gorgeous in person and way better than the pics show!!! The crystal exhibits water-clear gem clarity througout with brilliant, glassy luster all around!!! The crystal is complete and, upon close study the bottom edge of the crystal exhibits a network of complex faces as well!!! Despite some tiny dings on the edges the crystal is otherwise in terrific condition and displays gorgeously in person!!! Rare material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
