Vintage Superb SWAN OVERLAY - Self Filling - Fountain Pen & Pencil - C1930 - USA Gold Fill - Med Nib - Restored - Box / Ins - Ding Free
This Swan self filling fountain pen and matching pencil were manufactured by Mabie Todd in the USA around the early1930's.Gold filled overlay in outstanding condition, obviously has seen little use, no dents dings or scratches on either pen or pencil.Measures 5 1/8 inches.Cartouche is free from engravings.Fully serviced/ resto...red.Nib Imprint - Swan - 2 - 14Ct - Mabie Todd & Co - Made in USA. Writes a semi flex finer medium.Barrel. Imprint around the base - Swan Pen - Mabie Todd & Co - New York - Made in USA . All in ding, dent and scratch free condition. Gold filled lever. Cartouche is free.Cap. Gold filled . Gold filled Swan dog leg Patent dated clip. Again in superb condition. Fully matching working pencil in the same top condition, spare leads under top cap below eraser.Comes in hard case with instructions and guarantee.Restoration. The pen has been disassembled ultra sonically cleaned, all parts checked, reassembled with a new sac, hand polished and write tested.Overall.
