Vintage Stanley No. 5CType 9 Hand Plane Restored. All the original japaning was mostly gone so was stripped and repainted. Was de-rusted and there is some heavy pitting on the sole but shouldn’t effect its use. Someone drilled a hole In the end of the sole at sometime in the past. Sole and wings were worked on a surface plate. Tote was broken so was repaired with epoxy. Tote and knob were sanded and sprayed with poly. Blade sharpened and makes good shavings. Could use a bit more tuni...ng and will make a great user. Condition is Used. Shipping via USPS Priority Mail.
