Original Description:
This clock has the look and feel of a Chelsea, but it is unsigned other than the "BJC" on the bottom edge of the dial. Approx. 4 3/4 inches with a 3 1/2 inch diameter dial. The glass has been replaced and not a particularly good cut. I was able to wind it and it will run for just a few seconds, but I think that means the mainspring and hairspring are okay. The bigger concern is the tiny screw that should hold the minute hand may be broken off?  Normally there would be screw, but I... do not see the head of same. And the hour hand appears to be slightly out of sync?The brass case has a lot of discoloration spotting. The first photo has a weird green cast from the lighting. As much as I'd like to remove the hands and determine if it marked inside I don't want to risk damaging it. So this clock needs a complete restoration. Sold as-is, as found.
