The clock case is constructed from solid & veneered oak which is in great condition for age and has an absolutely beautiful deep patina finish. The clock features a carved architectural design with a stepped base and pitched top as well as carved decoration around the case, their is a piece of moulding missing on either side. The bracket clock is in great condition for age with a hinged glazed front door and a hinged back door which has a turn latchThe Clock Measures - 16.25 inches high x 11.5 inches wide x 7.5 inches deepDialThe clock has a 7.75 x 7 inch brass & silvered dial which has engraved roman numerals on the silvered chapter ring. The dial is in good original condition with pierced brass spandrels and 2 sub dials, one is for regulation and the other for silent/chime, the dial is protected by its glazed doorMovementThe clock has a German 8 day gong striking movement which is in full working order keeping good time and striking as it should, the movement comes with its original pendulum and comes with a winding key.
