This is an old and used large wooden Firkin bucket pail. Probably originally used to move and store grains, flour, sugar or similar dry goods. It was bought at an estate sale some years ago. It is made entirely from wood except for the handle and nails. A very nice older colonial country style piece that would look good in any display. See pics for full impressions.
