Japy freres Antique Mantle Clock, Amazing French 1880's Pierced 8 day Gilt Rococo Bronze clock.
The Clock Measures - 15 inches high x 6 inches wide x 5 inches deep.

This is a beautiful French 8 day bell striking Gilt bronze rococo shape mantle clock on its fixed base. As you can see the Clock is very beautiful with the finest of details and it is a stunning model and very very impressive. The clock has stunning patterns and raised designs and an acorn bronze center top piece with superb bronze pierced sections to the front and sides with two lion head mounts each side. It can even be used as a table clock if preferred as it is finished on the back nicely and sits on its fixed bronze base. This truly is an incredible clock which would look outstanding wherever it’s situated.Coming with its winding key and pendulum.

The Dial.Cream enamel porcelain dial with black Arabic numerals and black cross spade hands. Retailers names inscribed on the dial "A.D Overstryu of Rotterdam" with numbers "728".
The Movement.
French 8 day bell striking movement which strikes a nice clean bell on the half and full hour counting the hours. Makers name inscribed Japy freres. The movement is fully working and has just undergone a complete service keeping excellent time and striking correctly. Coming with its winding key and pendulum.
Condition Report.
This clock is in excellent original condition and in full working order having recently been fully serviced and restored, please have a good look over the many Pictures i have provided which can help with any further item description.
