Original Description:
Being offered is a rare, antique, hand carved, hand painted, wood shovel. There is a quaint farm scene painted, on the bowl of the shovel.I believe the shovel was painted in the late 1800's or early 1900's. It still has some of the old glitter, on the paint.
The antique shovel is in good antique condition, with wear, due to age and use. (see photos- crack in bowl and handle)The shovel is a wonderful piece of primitive Folk Art. Great for collecting and decorating.
