This auction is for an interesting and unique carved wooden trinket box from around the early 70's. It was purchased from a Polish gift shop back in the 70's, but is no longer in business.It has no marks, but I believe it was possibly made in Poland.The box is hand carved with thin metal outlining the hearts, flowers and butterflies. This box measures 10 1/4" long x 5 7/8' wide and 2 1/4" deep.It would be great for holding many kinds of treasures.It is hinged and has a suctio...n to it when you open and close it.
