Title:Charles Bragg PrintDescription:Presented for your consideration is this interesting old print. The print is in black and white and shows a judge (possibly a member of parliament) sitting at a desk. Sitting on top of the desk is a crossword puzzle, pen and a crushed walnut. In one hand is a gavel and in the other hand is a walnut. He is shown wearing a powdered wig and black robe. In the background is a United Kingdom flag. The print is very detailed and the tones are bold. Direct...ly underneath the print it is hand signed and numbered in pencil. It is hand signed by Charles Bragg (b. 1931-d. 2017) and numbered 66 of 100. Bragg was a well known American artist and author known for satirical artwork. His works often portrayed flaws in American society. His works are showcased in museums and exhibits around the world and had work commissioned by Playboy magazine. The print is matted and framed in a metallic gold colored, shadow box style frame. Outer edge of the frame has a crinkle design. This neat print would make a great addition to any art print collection! Would look great displayed in a law office!
