Frank SinatraRare Vintage Autograph on DANNY'S HIDE-A-WAY Postcard
Not only is this one of the most pristine GENUINE Frank Sinatra autographs you will ever see, but he signed it on a historically significant piece of memorabilia. "DANNY'S HIDE-A-WAY" in NY City was a well known celebrity hangout, including Frank Sinatra. Frank was apparently close friends with the owner.Danny’s Hideaway closed in the mid-1970s, allegedly because of nonpayment of back t...axes, but a bailout from friend Frank Sinatra enabled owner Dante Stradella to open in a new location.
Frank Sinatra signed in gorgeous blue vintage fountain pen on the back of the postcard , "For Jeffrey and Lauren, Frank Sinatra" in his well known late 40s/early 50s Authentic signature. And for those of you who do not like Inscribed signatures, the inscription can be easily matted out with just the signature showing in the mat cutout for the signature. I personally like inscribed signatures because celebrities like Frank Sinatra usually inscribed in person autographs to the recipients. And forgers rarely ever take the risk of adding an inscription and hence additional evidence of their forgery work. Its like an added layer of authenticity !
