The case is constructed from bronze with a stunning ormolu polished finish to it which is in excellent condition for age. The clock features a amazing high quality bronze detailed artist figurine holding a brush in the one hand and holding up the portrait picture in the other, the hand painted portrait is absolutely beautiful but unfortunately has a repaired crack on the one sideThe Clock Measures - 17.5 inches high x 12 inches wide x 5.25 inches deepDialThe clock has a 3 inch diameter silvered dial which is in great conditon for age, the dial has notches for numerals, the dial has an open faceMovementThe movement is a high quality French 8 day bell striking movement with a silk suspension escapement which strikes on the half past and on the hours, the movement is in full working order keeping time with its french silk suspension pendulum and striking as it should.
