We have acquired some top quality clocks from a local house clearance which we will be gradually listing over the coming days.THE CLOCKtop quality French gilt metal eight day Sevres mantle clock dating to around 1880. This clock is superb and the details are sensational. To the top there is a beautiful gilt and blue sevres porcelain urn with hand painted decorations and two lion head mounts either side. To the front of the clock there are 3 hand painted porcelain panels which have che...rub and floral scenes one being a full length dial and the other Two on each side of the clock.The clock got outstanding character to it and the quality is second to none. There is a lot of fine detail in this clock with superb gilt raised mounts and 4 Figural pillars coming down the clock in all 4 corners looks outstanding on display.The clock is in fantastic condition with case being professionally refinished to a high standard and would adorn any home.
