Original Description:
A stunning French porcelain and gilt brass clock set circa 1870/80.
Case: Beautiful hand painted porcelain face of period figures in a woodland setting, gilt painted chapter, black numerals with delicate fleur-de-lis steel hands - everything in pristine condition. A gilded brass case with turned columns, a stepped base with shaped edge, shaped top with porcelain insert, four turned finials and finished with large central finial - all original and complete with pair of matc...hing urns.  Movement:A good quality French eight day with pendulum and bell strike, this sounds half hourly and with the hours, recently serviced and working perfectly. 
Condition: The timepiece is superb throughout, one urn has a fine hairline near the handle, this is solid and not seen when displayed (last picture).
The clock measures 40cm tall, 21.3cm wide and is 13.5cm deep - Urn bases measure approx 9x9cm each
