Millers Falls Bit Brace, No 732-10 inch. This model is the Holdall Brace that featured a ball bearing head and fully enclosed ratchet. This jaw was used on the better braces until 1957, when cheaper less durable jaws became the order of the day after that. This model 732 first series was made between 1907 and 1957. The wood is a tropical hardwood, most likely cocobolo wood, as it has an orange/reddish/brown tint to it. Works well, and the reversible ratchet works as it should in all of... the 3 positions. Millers Falls were known to have some of the best tools available.
