Here we offer a Civil War-era CDV photograph of President Abraham Lincoln, framed under glass in a period brown velvet mourning frame. The albumen print is from the iconic February 8, 1864 Matthew Brady session.  It is marked on rear as produced by Joseph Ward, Boston.  The frame bears some wear to the engraved chromium plate and some tiny moth holes in the velvet (please see pics.)
