Once during a session, engineer Vance Powell told me about these "secret weapon" electric guitar amp mics. He wasn't lying. Great, filtered but punchy sound for any electric instrument. These came from the factory wired to unbalanced 1/4". I would usually run mine through a DI box but some interfaces are fine with them as-is, too. Works perfectly.
