Vintage Disston D-23, 26"-11PPI Crosscut Hand Saw
Fresh from a local estate sale, this 26", straight back saw is straight and sharp. The toe measures 1-5/8" deep. Just a hint of surface patina and a few paint spatters, see pictures. Has not been cleaned in any way. Has a strong etching which refers to the saw being "PRECISION SET+ FILED". The plate is chrome nickel alloy steel, which is fully taper ground. The wheat carved, beech handle is in excellent c...ondition, with only minor tool box wear and paint spatters. If you look closely at the pictures you will see the light wear to the handle, see the cover top area in the pictures.
