Up for sale is an awesome pair of vintage old wonderful antique AAU Official Specification circa (late 1930's to very early 1940's) MacGregor Goldsmith Golden Glove leather boxing gloves! As the photos show, these gloves are in excellent condition for being close to 75 plus years old! The leather is soft and supple and holding very strong. It has a fantastic look with the leather finely stitched and has two cloth labels finely stitched and attached with vibrant coloring and the neat st...amping and Sporting Goods logos. The beautiful light maroon patina is 100% original! Check out the silver lettering and stamping with the model number - G409 and adult size 8 OZ. - please see several close up photos. All of the seams and piping are clean & tight (very small blemish on right exterior -see photo - overall great shape & great stamping!!Both gloves have the original leather draw strings and MacGregor Goldsmith makers logos on the exterior wrist and the AAU stamp g and cloth AAU stamping along with the Golden Gloves stamping - wow! Both of the logo's are 100% affixed and clean as photoed. Both of the gloves have the wonderful cloth labels & makers tag sewn just inside the wrist - AAU - and the exterior with the Sporting Goods logo (see close-up). The gloves measure 10" in length and are 6" inches wide - thick filled/stuff gloves - SWEET.
