12" TALL NATIVE AMERICAN NAVAJO BUFFALO KACHINA DOLL HOLDING BOW AND ARROW
This auction offers a very nicely crafted 12" tall Native American Navajo buffalo kachina doll or figure. The figure holds a bow and arrow in the hands and is covered almost entirely in rabbit fur. It has a painted leather skirt and a turquoise stone at the belt. It has decorated wooden horns at the top of the mask. This figure is signed but the signature is very h...ard to read. It is titled Buffalo. Because it is quite similar to an other well-marked kachina signed N. Yazzie, I believe this piece is likely by that same artist. I see no damage.
