This is a Mola, a reverse applique of a lobster that was handmade in Panama by the Kuna Indians. Each part of the design is made in 3 or 4 layers of applique with holes made to show the colors underneath. This is a particularly nice lobster that measures about 13" by 16". I know it has been hung before because the black in the upper left corner has faded a little. That part can be covered with a frame or you can use some permanent black marker to darken it. ...; That corner leaves it overall in very good condition with the rest excellent.Check out my other items! Then they introduced Buy It Now and now most purchases are BIN. That means that auctions, which usually ask less $, are being ignored and often get no bids. You might consider bidding on auctions again because you have a much better chance of winning than before BIN was introduced. AUCTIONS: Advantages of Earlier BiddingWhen you bid, it locks in the seller's description. It can only be added to only at the very bottom of the page where no one looks. If you see an error that may discourage bidding, (spelling etc) it is to your advantage to force that error to remain because other bidders may then miss it altogether. Try misspelling your item and see what comes up. An early bid also prevents the seller from later adding a Buy It Now to a listing. It must remain an auction if it has a bid and cannot disappear because someone emailed the seller with a good BIN offer.Watch List: Many bidders put items on their WATCH List and then they wait until the very end to bid. There are advantages and disadvantages to this approach. The advantage is that you are not driving up the price by bidding with your competition. The disadvantage is that bidders often forget to keep track of their watched items and find out too late that the item sold for less than you would have been willing to pay, or it didn't sell at all and you could have had it for the minimum bid.The solution to this dilemma: Bid just the minimum bid amount early on.
