here is a pair of New Old Stock 1940-1950's "SWIVELIER CO. New York" cast iron base Industrial Work Bench Lamps with articulating porcelain single sockets. Each has 2 pre-drilled holes in base for screwing down and securing. They have NO ON/OFF SWITCH and are PLUG IN LIGHTS! These came in an old SWIVELIER box with CATALOG No. 904BR on paper label. both have ORIGINAL yellow "SWIVELIER PRODUCTS" Manufacturing label on back lower base shoulders, with PAT and Patd Applied for on labels as ...shown in picture. both have like new original felt. the metal lamps are bronze color. both work as shown in picture. The cords were wrapped, when I unwrapped one cord the outer rubber coating over wiring started to chip off and break from being brittle. the wires under the rubber that is chipping are wrapped in a black and red cloth like material over the electrical wires. the wires themselves are not damaged. just the rubber outer coating is very brittle on the one lamp. THIS ISSUE IS SHOWN IN LAST PIC. No WATTAGE or VOLTAGE information on either the lamps or the old box. You may want to have rewired? lamps stand approximately 14" tall. base is approximately 6" front to back x 4" wide. each lamp weighs 3lbs 6oz. sold as is as found as a pair. please view all pics and read full item condition.
