Probably rare as a hen's tooth! From an old estate filled with period, early American glass. This piece is in near excellent original condition, crisp and clean. It does have some minor damage. Near the end of the spout is a chip or flake (see images) and there may have been a curl under the applied handle at the lower point of attachment to the bowl (I have never seen another ...to compare to) however there is no curl there and some minor chipping on the glob of glass where a curl would be (see images). There are no cracks or fractures. Free blown, polished pontil. Probably New England or Sandwich Glass. You are bidding on the filler only. Other early glass soon to be listed.
