Partially printed. Oblong folio. Signed in secretarial hand, but signed below by Andrew Jackson Donelson (1799-1871) as "A.J." Donelson; dated December 7, 1835. Donelson was diplomat and candidate for Vice-President with Fillmore. He was Andrew Jackson's nephew and private secretary throughout his administration.
Official document, not a facsimile or reproduction. ...The name of the original grant recipient (James Fitzsimmons) is on the verso where it would be visible when folded accordion style.
Condition: very good, mild age-toning; creasing due to aforesaid accordion folding; else good. In frame it would make a handsome addition to any office or library wall.
Item has been stored flat in sleeve and will ship flat on backing board unless otherwise requested.
