I am neither a saw collector nor an expert on saws, but as a Philly native I have a fondness for old Disston saws, and I try to describ...e any saw I list to the best of my ability and limited knowledge. The medallion and handle design indicate to me that this one was made prior to 1955. This one has some rust spots. Clear etch. See pictures. Medallion reads "DISSTON / U.S.A." Measures 27-3/8" overall, leading edge to heel is 24", 6" tall top of handle to edge, handle is 15/16" thick, weighs 1 lb 8 oz. Contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
