Item: OriginalQueen Elizabeth I Vellum Manuscript Document with Elizabeth I Wax Seal. A wonderful opportunity to purchase an original, framed document dating from theElizabethan period Circ. 1560. Totally hand written on Vellum in Latin. To the beginning of the document we see inLarge Elizabeth, probably written by the Privy Council. I have not been able to decipher any of thecontents on this and would make a fantastic research project. The document comes with its original QueenElizabeth I Wax Seal, which is still attached to the document, worn but stillpresent. The entire document has awooden frame. The frame which is veryheavy and not original to the period, which I would date the wooden framingaround the 1940s. All in all afascinating piece of Tudor history and highly collectable Elizabeth I manuscripts. The price of postage is expensive due to theweight. I will refund any overcharge onthe postage. Size of entire frame: Width almost 22 inches wide x 19 inches high. Condition: thedocument is in superb condition, the seal is worn but still attached.
