Superb large 19thc gothic walnut carved panel.Excellent attention to carved detail on this gothic panel. All carving in fine relief. Facing to the left is a winged gargoyle with an acanthus leaf tail. Wonderful detail to the head. Further ornate acanthus leaf scrolled carvings and a flower to top area of the panel.Measures some 21.5" x 17.75".Condition is excellent and age commensurate with just a little minor damage to one border edge but nothing of impo...rt.
