This is a Buck Brothers 1-1/2 Inch No. 8 Sweep Wood Chisel GougeThis nice large Buck Brothers Wood Chisel Gouge measures 1-1/2 inches in width and a long 12-1/2 inches in full original length!It is in excellent condition having been lightly used. It has a No. 8 Sweep blade. Buck Brothers chisels were made from fine Cast Steel that tests Rockwell Hardness Rc 59-60 Excellent Temper for nicely holding an edge on cutting hardwoods. The hardwood handle is in excellent cond...ition with nice wood grain, barely light signs of use, and nice lacquer finish. The blade is clean steel, and it has a shiny sharp edge ready to put to work.
