HOLOPHANE DUSTTIGHTONLY 2 LEFT Sold individuallyThis Holophane Dusttight Pendant Light received a light cleaning only. The condition is exceptional, as the photos show. Along with the cosmetic preservation, I restored the inner workings. The socket is in nice condition and original. If desired, a brand new UL Listed socket, that is a nice match, is available upon request. My commercial customers often appreciate this option. I've also added a good solid... ground..Pass Your Inspections!!The asbestos gasket was removed and replaced with a new non-asbestos gasket, exact size and also Hi-Temperature Rated.The newer swivel hanger allows the light to move upon impact which reduces or eliminates any damage upon impact.The heavy prismatic glass globe is 11 inches in diameter. I see no chips or cracks anywhere on the globe, it's in amazing condition. The metal band that surrounds the globe is in far above average condition with zero oxidation. From the bottom tip of the globe to the point the pipe enters the aluminum fitter, (socket holder), is 11 3/8 inches. The complete light fixture is 23 inches from the bottom of the lens/globe to the top of the hanger. It could easily be made to hang higher or lower with the simple change of the 3/4" pipe, which is currently about 12 inches. I will provide either 3"or 8" pipes at no additional charge.(The globe will also hide a compact fluorescent bulb inside, ....... shhhhh, no need to tell anybody) Holophane is well known for their innovative designs. This old guy is no exception. The latches are easily opened to allow the globe to be removed for easy re-lamping. When re-installed, the latches close with authority, safely locking the beautiful globe back into place. No expense was spared during the restoration of this amazing and scarce vintage light. I tend to each and every one as if I was restoring it for public exhibition...I'm extremely proud of my work and I hope it shows in the many pictures.
