This is a really beautiful, fine quality and unusual Chinese cloisonné trinket dish or pin dish.
The dish is made from brass covered in very fine cloisonné work, depicting a temple with forests and mountains in the background, and two big bold flowers in the foreground, which I take to be chrysanthemums.
The colours are very vibrant including a repeated floral emblem around the edge of the dish in various shades of blue.
The dish is 126 mm in diameter.
Excellent condi...tion with no losses to the cloisonné; just a few small pin pricks in the enamel. The remnants of paper labels are stuck to the underside.
A beautiful, decorative piece.
