StoresBe sure to add me to your favorites list!ITEM DESCRIPTION: Up for auction is a nifty PAIR of small, vintage, 1950's Japanese tin litho friction toy cars, a taxi and a police car, in the form of a Volkswagen Beetle. Each is marked on the back just under the license plate area "Japan". These are very early versions of this type Japanese VW tin litho car, having a tin metal, not plastic, underside. Each measures 2 1/8" by 1 1/2" by 1" tall. They definitely show wear with paint... loss and small dents. They don't roll very well either. They were obviously played with quite a bit.
