Antique Or Vintage Sevres Porcelain Reticulated Compote In Green And Gold

On auction we have a stunning Sevres reticulated porcelain compote hand painted in green and gold. This measures 6 5/8" tall, 8" in diameter across the top and stands on a 4 3/8" square base. The bottom is marked "Me Imp'e de Sevres Made In France" and with a gold symbol. This weighs 2 pounds 2 ounces. I showed this to my antique dealer and she said "That's what we call a presentation piece. Add some pomegranates and you're decorated for Christmas.".
... This is in excellent condition. There is some wear on the gold, but no cracks, chips or repairs. Please view my photographs for more description. Decades ago, my friend was walking down Madison Avenue in NYC, spotted this is a small shop and just had to buy it. Instead of being featured in his home, it got hidden away in storage, never used.
