Greetings vintage hatchet lovers and BSOA memorabilia collectors ! !
For your consideration is a Genuine Plumb official Boy Scouts of America hatchet.
This hatchet has its original handle but it has an obvious crack and is taped up.
The head is a bit beat up and has a lot of pitting, but A little reading shows that this version of the Genuine Plumb logo was used right around the 1930's.
Also included is a sharpening stone from the same era.
