Small Delftware Pitcher with Hinged Pewter Lid
Part of a group of items being sold on behalf of the family of an elderly collector in Connecticut. Collector had varied interests with very good (expensive) taste. Lots of seemingly high quality items. Family is unsure of provenance (where or when these items were collected) but we will try to give as much information as we have.
Measures approx 7 1/2" high x approx 4 1/2" wide. Very sensuous curves.18t...h Century.Great floral patterned design.Condition consistent with age.Chips, scratches, stains and, or cracks as shown in photos.Features beautiful glazed finish. Have tried to photograph as best as possible - please excuse glare from the lights.Item is being sold as is in the condition shown by photos. Keep in mind, this is an antique and subject to appropriate wear for the item. Any particular damage that we are aware of has either been shown or has been separately stated.
