Original Description:
For your consideration is an authentic Fred Harvey Yei style weaving (rug) circa 1950-60s. It measures 22” x 31”. Attached to the weaving is the original Fred Harvey and sales tags.This historical weaving is in excellent condition with no issues. It was previously stored and has never been displayed. It was woven by an expert weaver by an upright loom and is made of commercial spun, hand carded wool. The weaving features two female Yei spirits with corn stalks against a grayish bla...ck background.This weaving has a tight even weft count of 28 per inch and a warp count of 10 per inch. The selvage cords are in excellent condition with no breaks. The corners are also in excellent condition. All four tassels are present and are in excellent condition. No spots or stains. Both sides of this weaving are consistent in color. Just a vibrant, beautiful little weaving!Low Opening Bid & No Reserve!Good luck and happy bidding!
