Here is an amazing estate auction find. It's an electric Eureka vacuum that's almost 100 years old. Most city homes were just getting electricity in the early 20's and out here in the country it would be another 10 years. Overall very nice for an almost hundred year old vacuum. Motor runs but takes a moment to get up to speed and sucking. I assume new brushes in the motor would help, It's still a functioning machine. The tag on it is hard to read but it looks like all the patent d...ates are in 1910 so it may actually be over 100 years. Bag has a tiny hole near bottom. The original cord is losing the cloth over wrap in a couple spots but the outer rubber is all good and pliable. One wheel has a flat spot. Perfect for collector, theater or décor, it isn't going to perform like a modern machine, although it will probably outlive it.
