Up for auction are two vintage Mexican pottery piggy (pig) banks. My mom and dad got these on their honeymoon to Mexico in 1950. Both measure approximately 5" long, 5"-5 1/4" tall and 3" wide. They are in very good condition. The one with the brighter colors has what looks like a small crack coming off of the coin slot. It's very straight and I don't think it goes all the way through (see pic). There are areas on both of them where the glaze did...n't cover the clay, but that's how they were made. The colors on one pig are lighter with one side of it pretty faded (see pics). No chips or cracks. I have taken pics from every angle so that you can be the judge. Please visit my store. Besides my own items, I am in the process of listing items from two different estates. Both people were collectors so there is a huge number of items and a large variety. I will be listing more items regularly so please check back often. Thanks for looking.
