Paragon Hand Painted Pink and Purple Sweet Pea on Black Demitasse Cup and Saucer
Made In England
c.1939

A delicate Paragon demitasse cup and saucer. Features a black background with pink and purple Sweet Pea and green leaves on the demitasse cup interior and the saucer centre.  Saucer has purple background with gold bands. Demitasse cup has broken loop style handle and thumb rest accented in purple and gold.  Both cup and saucer have scalloped edges and are trimm...ed in luxurious gold.  Both cup and saucer have early double warrant mark.  
This delicate demitasse cup and saucer would make an elegant addition to any afternoon tea table.
