Up for auction is this vintage wall clock. The face reads: "NUTONE TELECRON MOTORED" and is covered with beveled glass. The glass has a handle and opens and closes. This clock casing is Mahogany veneered with a floral relief at the bottom in front. The motor and everything comes with this case. All of the parts seem to be there but it is not all connected properly. This is the original, door bell chime that comes with. The motor part reads: "REG. US PAT. OF TELECHRON MOTOR MO...VEMENT TYPE: A1-G4 V: 20 CY: 60 W: 2 US PATENT 1768386 TELECHRON ASHLAND, MASS.". There's a plaque on the back of the clock that reads: "PATENTED AND MADE BY NUTONE INCORPORATED CINCINNATI, OHIO". It measures about 17" tall X 11.25" wide X 6" deep. It weighs about 7 pounds 7.3 ounces. It is in good vintage condition. There is a scratch on the wood on 1 side. And there are 2 small holes in the bottom which are not visible when hung. They were probably made to hang it at some point. The door opens and closes with ease but because the motor is not installed properly, it has to be slightly lifted up to close the door.
