An 1860s cobalt blue square drugstore or medicine bottle with no embossing....hand blown in mold....hand tooled square ring collar....deep cobalt blue....square....only 2 3/4"tall....Good condition with only 3 tiny shallow chips on top surface of lip; no other chips or damage. A dug bottle with haze & some surface etched swirl lines which resemble embossing on one panel. We dug this bottle with mixed pontiled bottles from a Civil War period outhouse privy pit.
